The new printing options in PageFour have finally been put to rest - for the time being at least. Version 1.42 is now available for download, and I’m more than happy with how it’s turned out.
This version makes the construction of the print templates simpler and easier to understand, and adds a new feature for anyone with multiple printers or print devices such as PDF writers.
Feedback, as always, is more than welcome.

The update looks and works great–so great that I registered my copy a full three weeks before the trial was up! I am loving PageFour. I have used MANY writing programs from Power Writer to Dramatica and from StoryCraft to TreePad. PageFour is by far the best. I love the archive and snapshot features and I also love its simplicity. Thank you so much for creating it and keeping it up to date. Because I am all about making a program I love even better, I hope you don’t mind if I leave you with a wish list. Not demands by any stretch, just additions that, for me, would make PageFour perfect.
My Wishlist for PageFour:
1. Print Preview (I hear this is coming)
2. Ability to log on as a different user when the program first starts, with each user being able to specify where his or her database is located. That way my school-aged daughter could use it on the same computer but have her own set of notebooks.
3. Ability to hyperlink to files on the computer instead of just web pages. That way you could click on a link on a character card and open a jpg picture of the character.
4. Ability to hyperlink to other pages in the same notebook and pages in other notebooks.
5. Ability to start printing with a page number other than one (YEAH! You already added that feature in the latest version, but I include it here because I felt like I needed a 5th idea but couldn’t think of one).

Thanks Michael,
Feedback is always welcome. You raise an interesting point about different users logging in to different notebooks. At the moment, your daughter would need to log on to your PC under her own name for her notebooks to appear, but it’s a very good suggestion.
I’ll add your points to the list.
