highlight text

I miss the highlight text function in word, when you can mark text, as though with a colored highlighter. Easy to find things you want to check...

I would indeed like something similar: the ability to highlight all matches for the "search" feature, and also for "smart-edit".

In smart-edit mode, that would be especially useful to check if your repetitions are "far away" enough that they are not such a big problem.

Furthermore, I have a minor problem with smart-edit: it performs sub-token matching. For example, if it detected that I used "the" many times, if the first match is "loathe", it will highlight it.

I can see that the Smart-Edit 'find' needs some improvement. Double clicking on a word or phrase works as a simple text 'find' rather than moving to the first actual occurrence of the complete word, which is why partial word matches are highlighted.

I'd like highlighting too, as per Janie's desscription. I notice that when I cut and past highlighted text in from word, it retains the highlight. But I can only change the color of the font with this program, not the background (which is what I'd like).

Just to clarify the above post, "word" = "MS Word 2007" and "it" and "this program" = PageFour.

Also, it's a great program as is; I really like it!
