Shortcuts and easy special character entry

I have a few suggestions. It would be nice if there was a way to do special character entry. Maybe Ctrl + ? for an upsidedown ? or Ctrl + ' then a vowel for a vowel with an accent mark. Maybe an auto-replace feature would work.

Also, it would be nice if it were possible to navigate among documents with the keyboard. Maybe Ctrl + O or something to switch focus to the folders and pages in the notebook, then the ability to open and close folder with the left and right arrow keys. Also maybe Ctrl + Tab to switch tabs.

I realize you want to keep it simple; so you can ignore this suggestion. I think it would be nice to have style classes like Word so I could make a heading 1, then type in the default style class, etc. Changes to the font
would affect all text with the same class. Just an idea probably with some flaws, you can perfect it or reject it.

A number of shortcut keys do already exist to allow easy navigation between different parts of the interface. For example, Ctrl+J jumps the focus from the word processor to the current page in the Notebook tree, Ctrl+Alt+ left or right arrow keys switches between open tabs, and the plus and minus or left and
right arrow keys will open or close the selected folder.

A complete list of shortcuts can be found in the help file, or on the web-site: http://www.softwareforwriting.com/help/shortcuts.html

You might also want to look at the Quick-Insert shortcuts, which covers your first point: http://www.softwareforwriting.com/help/wordprocessor.html#wp...
