Clearing search history

Is there an option to disable saving of search history, or a way to clear it? If not, I'd really like it if search history wasn't saved at all. It's just one of those things...

I'm afraid not Wendy. The search history is never flushed, though it is quite short.

I would be interested to hear if many people actually use the saved search history. It's one of those features that seemed like a good idea at the time but may never be used by real users.

Thanks for your reply, Darren. It's not a major thing, but I usually clear my cookies, browsing history, etc. in my browser daily, so I don't particularly like/ am not used to having a saved history. I don't use it, either, because most if not all of my searches are one-time occurances. An option to disable or enable it might be a bit unnecessary, so if others agree, I'd like it if the history wasn't saved.
