Em-dash and en-dash compatibility/split-screen/re-ordering of tabs

I know PageFour doesn't have compatibility for en- and em-dashes in the current version, but will they be in version 2? It's just really annoying not being able to use them in the actual program. Thanks.

Also, on another topic, you mentioned that, currenly, there isn't a split-screen option in PageFour. Are you interested in including such an option in version 2, though? While tabs are helpful in certain cases, split screen is vital for me when I'm comparing, or when I've made notes and want to see them as I type.

Finally, it would really be nice to be able to change the position of tabs. Sometimes I just want them in a particular order, and it makes it easier without having to open and close them again in the right order.

Just a note to support Kira's request for en- and em-dashes. Even though you can now type them in, they don't save, and I end up instead with what look like hyphenated words instead of dash pauses, which is disconcerting.

The en/em dashes issue is being looked into for the next version. If you haven't already found the work around, it can be found here:

A split screen option is not planned for PageFour. The decision was made early on to go with tabs over split screen, and this is not likely to change.

As for tab positioning, I've never really considered adding this feature, as it's never been asked for before. I'll add it to the list of possible improvements and look into it later.

Thanks for the update Darren. Just wondering, with the meta data feature in version 2, will I be able to see the current page's notes and/or the whole outline side by side with my work? That would be sufficient enough for me. Thanks.

I second this on the tab reordering ... maybe it could be a drag and drop feature? Overall, this is a wonderful program and I absolutely love it! Thank you so much!
