1st January 2012 - PageFour Version 1.83 Released
A minor release to fix Import Dialog issues for Windows 7 users running large font displays.
21st October 2011 - PageFour Version 1.82 Released
A fully featured 45 day trial version replaces the limited free version that was previously available. This will allow all users trying out PageFour to give it a proper trial run with as many projects and files as they wish.
No new features were added in this release.
3rd October 2011 - All My Journals Version 1 Released
The first licensed version of All My Journals was released today. This version includes:
- Multiple Journals
- Journal Navigation area and Journal Manager
- Comprehensive search facility

11th August 2011 - AtoZ Notebook Version 1 Released
This marks the first full release version that was available for purchase. All prior versions had been single Notebook free versions, and were beta releases. Improvements and changes to this version:
- Support for multiple Notebooks was added
- Manage Notebooks section along with a Notebook Navigation area
- Changes to the menu layout
- Changes to Export Current Notebook to allow export to a single RTF file
- Free version with one Notebook and licensed version with multiple Notebooks available
25th July 2011 - PageFour Version 1.81 Released
Version 1.81 is a minor release with a small number of bug fixes and changes.
- Archive storage increased to 500.
- Snapshot storage limit increased to 100 days.
- Data folder location change now creates a 'pagefour' sub folder in the destination folder before moving files.
- Print Templates: Option to exclude headers and page numbers from the first PageFour printed page.
5th March 2009 - PageFour Version 1.70 Released
Version 1.70 comes with changes to the PageFour license agreement. Prior to v1.70, each PC on which PageFour was installed needed to have a separate license. This has now changed to allow for either a single PC with multiple users, or multiple PCs with a single user, and means that users working on more than a single PC do not now need to purchase a second license.
Further changes in this version include the following:
- Support for the MS Word DOCX format when importing.
- Changes to the Import Dialog: A folder within a Notebook can now be selected as the import destination, and the ability to quickly paste the import location rather than navigate the file tree is now allowed.
- Major Bug Fix: Crashes had occurred when Unicode characters were selected in the Word Processor. This affected users writing in Chinese and Japanese languages, and has now been fixed.
- Major Bug Fix: For a small number of users the Import Dialog failed to open. This is now fixed, and should not recur.
9th November 2007 - PageFour Version 1.65 released
Version 1.65 is a minor release, and contains small changes to the interaction between the Notebook tree and the open Pages:
- New Page and New Folder buttons will now remain active, even when the tree is not in focus.
- The current open page in the word processor will always appear highlighted in the Notebook tree, making it easier to navigate pages. The only exception is if the current page belongs to a Notebook that is not open.
- The reason for these changes is to make it easier for new users to understand how PageFour is structured, and to eliminate any misunderstandings about where your new pages or folders are being created.
- Minor bug fix whereby certain Quick-Insert shortcuts changed line spacing settings in error.

27th August 2007 - PageFour Version 1.63 released
Version 1.63 contains a number of minor changes as well as one new feature, all of which are documented on the PageFour blog. Those changes include:
- Overhaul of the way Smart Quotes are handled. They now work in the same way as MS Word.
- Quick-Insert shortcut keys for inserting characters, words, or phrases - all definable by the user.
- Insert Date shortcut (Ctrl+D), as well as global date format setup on the Options dialog.
- Option to apply background color to the Notebook list as well as the word processor.
- The Font dialog has been improved to allow any color to be chosen and set as the default, rather than the limited selection of only 8 colors.

24th September 2006 - PageFour Version 1.50 released
Features and changes in version 1.50 include:
- Smart-Edit. Automatic feature to scan for repeated phrases and words.
- Changes to Word Count dialog - not quite a rolling word count, but similar to MS Word's 'always on top' offering.
- Superscript and Strikeout options added to the Format menu.
- New button on Options dialog to allow users to specify which Notebooks form part of auto-archives.
- On rolling back or importing, only relevant Notebooks are archived in advance.
- Notebooks List - New right click menu options for adding a Folder or Page directly to the current Notebook. This fixes problems associated with adding new folders and pages to a 'full' Notebook.
- Change to New Folder and New Page buttons. They are now only enabled when the user has selected the Folder or Notebook to add the Page to. This is to reduce confusion over where the new Page or Folder will be created.
- Multi-select enabled for Notebooks List in the import and rollback dialog.
- Correction to Notebook scrolling problems on some operating systems.
- Correction to indentation problems for Numbered lists.
The trial version of PageFour will no longer be a 30 Day Trial. On first installation, a FREE EDITION will run, which has certain restrictions. It only allows for the creation of 3 Notebooks, with a maximum of 20 pages per Notebook. This change will allow people more time to try out PageFour before deciding whether or not to buy.
